LAS COLORADAS
Tours, excursions and activities in el Cuyo. This tour will take you by boat to see dolphins, rays and turtles.
Cruise down the river through the natural reserve, which is home to lots of flamencos and ancient fossiles , and enjoy the unspoilt jungle.
On a calm sea day you can do some snorkeling in clear waters.
This tour includes a Mayan mud bath ritual with clay,
leaving your skin like new.
Once arriving at the Coloradas, you will have a 1.5 hours timeframe to check town, have lunch in a restaurant or go to the Colorada parc* which is famous for its pink salt lagoon.
You can enter the parc for a small tour within the tour and see some
flamencos and other species.

YALAHAU
This trip first takes you on a one hour boat ride to Yalahau, this is a mini parc with a cenote ( an underground water cave) with a restaurant, lagoon and viewing point. You can do some swimming in the cenote and enjoy the views.*(parc is 100 pesos not included in price). Then you will be taken to the secluded beach of Caracol, this beach can only be reached by boat. You can eat some ceviche there and enjoy a coconut or water while lounging in this exclusive place. During this trip you can do some snorkeling as well, if ofcourse the water is calm.
This excursion takes approx. 6 hours.

CARACOL
This trip will take you on a one hour boat ride to the secluded Caracol beach, on the way up you are likely to see some sea turtles, dolphins or sea rays.
This beach can only be reached by boat and is very exclusive.
After this you will be taken to another stunning beach called Chippete, here the seawater mixes with the lagoon water and you can do some snorkeling ,lounging and a ceviche is being served with a coconut and water.
Of course you are more than welcome to bring your own drinks.
This a great trip if you like to lounge and observe some sea species.

KAJAK ON THE RIVER or SEA
Kajak or SUP on the sea is more about seeing the never ending coastline of El Cuyo and chilling on the water with friends, maybe oberve some wildlife.
Both Kajak and Stand Up Peddling is the best
during mornings at sunrise, but when the water is calm can be done
at whatever time. Sunsets create great views as well.
This is a great way of seeing El Cuyo from the ocean and
get a complete different picture of where you are.

RIVER TOUR
Great trip for seeing flora and fauna.
You can enjoy a Maya clay bath and see what the wildlife of the jungle is all about
If the sea is too rough to go on a sea trip,
or you just like a small trip and see the surroundings ,
this is a great alternative.
You will be taken from the lagoon onto the river where you can see species like cocodriles and flamencos and there
are a few mini islands on your way. You will go through the natural reserve and get educated about
the flaura and fauna , some tours you will see the stunning sunsets aswell
